          Amrita Sanskrit Higher Secondary School located at the centre of Parippally town,kollam.It is one of the largest schools in kerala which teaches Sanskrit as the first language and it is one of the most famous and well known schools in the district. When the government first introduced higher secondary courses in the private sector in 1992, Amrita Secondary School was the only school which offered Sanskrit as one of the optional languages.               The school when started was named as SVMS, was controlled by Amrita Trust headed by Matha Amrithanathamayi Amma and later it was renamed as Amrita Sanskrit Higher Secondary School (ASHSS). The school as SVMS began functioning as a UP school in 1964 and was upgraded as a high school on 1982, along with the accredition as a Sanskrit school. DAY 3

     January 14 Monday was the third day of our school visit.I reached the school by 9.15 am and attended a short prayer.During the first period,I took the rest of the poem 'Solitude' in 8th B by creating a good rapport with them.After revising the previous days portion I continued and completed the portion of the chapter assigned to me.And the school dispersed with a National Anthem at 3.30pm

DAY -4

       On January 16 Wednesday was the fourth day of our school visit.We reached the school by 9am.After a short prayer we the trainees gathered in the room assigned to us.This day I got some substitution hours.During the eighth period ,i had the class on 8th B there we discussed about the poem.By 3.30pm the school dispersed with a National Anthem.
