Mind speaks

       Our second week of teaching practice was scheduled from 17 June 2019 to 21 June 2019.This week i completed the first chapter'The Mysterious Picture'.I ended up the class by giving a short  summary.     From the next class I helped the students to do the activities.One of the activity was regarding the question tags it was unfamiliar for them so I took two classes.To make them thorough I gave them notes and different examples.

       Our first week of teaching practice was scheduled from 12 June 2019 to 14 June 2019.I met the principal and the subject teacher for collecting the timetable of std 8th A.During the first period I attended the class and had an interaction with the students.After that I asked the students to write how did they spend their summer vacation.They did well.Then I asked them to bring text and note regularly.         From the second day I started the chapter "The Mysterious Picture" by Charles de Coster which deals about the sublime nature of art and it is affected when it is undervalued.I showed some pictures of artists and their paintings to make the content more clear.Students listened carefully.

         Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other profession.The destinies of the students are being shaped by their teachers in the classroom.The teacher have the power to cultivate or develop the students.        A.K.M.H.S S,Mylapore was assigned for us for our teaching practice.Our team included fifteen teacher trainees.Among these two of us from English - Princy(myself) and karthika.As per the instruction and guidance provided by the teachers ,our teaching practice commenced on 12th June 2019.

          The school really attracted us in its atmosphere,appearance and ambiance.The great speciality of the school is the providance of Sanskrit education ,it provides free education and hostel facility to the poor students.       We all get a good feedback fom the teachers and students.This school visit is definitely a practical foresight.It made a great opportunity to mould our teaching qualities.

        January 17 Thursday was the last day of our school visit.As usual we reached the school by 9am and attended the assembly.During the 6th period along karthika I went to 8th B.After that we went to meet our subject teacher to say thanks for their moral support and guidance.And the school dispersed by 3.30pm after the National Anthem

       On January 16 Wednesday was the fourth day of our school visit.We reached the school by 9am.After a short prayer we the trainees gathered in the room assigned to us.This day I got some substitution hours.During the eighth period ,i had the class on 8th B there we discussed about the poem.By 3.30pm the school dispersed with a National Anthem.

     January 14 Monday was the third day of our school visit.I reached the school by 9.15 am and attended a short prayer.During the first period,I took the rest of the poem 'Solitude' in 8th B by creating a good rapport with them.After revising the previous days portion I continued and completed the portion of the chapter assigned to me.And the school dispersed with a National Anthem at 3.30pm

       January 11 friday was the second day of our school visit.We reached the school by 9'0 am.At sharp 9.20 am there was a short prayer service. After it me and karthika went to 8th B for taking class during the first hour .We shared the classes and taken the poem 'Solitude'.As we were provided only one period the introduction was taken by karthika.After the national anthem we dispersed at 3.30pm

         DAY - 1 (10.01.2019)                 On January 10 Thursday was the first day of our school visit.We all reached the school by 9'0 clock itself.On that day there was assembly.After signing the attendance register we went to meet our subject teacher.Thankachy miss asked us to observe her class in 8th B chapter School for Sympathy during 3rd period.The observation class was very useful to us.                          Thankachy miss assigned std 8th B to take class by giving the chapter 'Solitude' with a share class.After having the informal talk students actively responds.By 3.30pm our first day experience at school ended.                       ...

Introduction                According to the B.ed curriculum 2018-2019 it is a necessity for the teacher trainees to visit a school for five days to get an awareness of the matters that usually take place in a school.Thus we visited Amrita Sanskrit Higher Secondary School,Parippally.       The school was assigned two of us for our teaching practice and we were there for five days from 10th January 2019 to 17th January 2019 from our college Fathima Memorial Training College,Mylapore.From the English option ,we were two teacher trainees myself and karthika.        The purpose of our school visit is to provide student teachers an opportunity to have primary experiences with the functioning of the school.It provide direct learning experience to student teachers on various roles of a teacher including on teaching the subject.
